✅ 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the G-Best CBT Platform mobile application ("the App"), you ("User") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and G-Best CBT Platform ("we," "our," or "us").
If you are accessing the App on behalf of a minor (a student under 18), you as the parent or guardian agree to these Terms on their behalf and accept responsibility for their use of the App.
📌 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App. Continued use of the App after any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
🎓 2. Eligibility
The G-Best CBT Platform is available to:
Students of any age preparing for Nigerian standardised examinations (WAEC, NECO, JAMB, BECE, etc.)
Teachers and educators using the platform for instructional purposes
Parents or guardians managing accounts on behalf of their children
Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent prior to creating an account. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
👤 3. Your Account
When you create an account on G-Best CBT Platform, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your password and not share your login credentials with others
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account
You may only maintain one (1) active account per person. Creating duplicate or fake accounts is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.
📱 4. Permitted Use of Service
G-Best CBT Platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Permitted uses include:
Practising with past questions and model answers for personal exam preparation
Tracking your personal academic progress through the app's dashboard
Accessing educational content relevant to your selected subjects and examination level
Sharing your referral code with friends and family for legitimate app promotion
🚫 5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any questions, answers, or content from the App without our express written permission
Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar tools to extract data from the App
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's code or infrastructure
Upload, post, or transmit any false, misleading, harmful, or offensive content
Impersonate another user, teacher, or G-Best CBT staff member
Use the App for any commercial purpose without written authorisation
Circumvent any access controls, subscription restrictions, or security measures within the App
Facilitate academic dishonesty or use the App in a manner that violates examination regulations
⚠️ Violation of any prohibited conduct clause may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, legal action.
📚 6. Content & Intellectual Property
All content within the G-Best CBT Platform — including but not limited to past questions, model answers, explanations, graphics, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of G-Best CBT Platform or its licensed content partners, and is protected under applicable Nigerian and international copyright laws.
Past questions sourced from official examination bodies (WAEC, NECO, JAMB) are used for educational and non-commercial purposes. All trademarks and examination body logos belong to their respective owners.
By uploading a profile photo or any content to the App, you grant G-Best CBT Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
💳 7. Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features of G-Best CBT Platform may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. By making a purchase, you agree to:
Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan at the rates in effect at the time of purchase
Provide accurate billing information through our authorised payment processors
Acknowledge that all purchases are processed securely via Google Play billing
Refund Policy: Refund requests are subject to Google Play's standard refund policy. You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase for technical issues by contacting us at support@gbestcbt.com. We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases after 48 hours.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect.
⚠️ 8. Disclaimers
The G-Best CBT Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date content, we make no warranties, express or implied, including:
That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
That the content will always reflect the latest examination syllabus or marking scheme
That use of the App guarantees any specific examination result
G-Best CBT Platform is a supplementary study tool. It does not replace official textbooks, teacher guidance, or formal schooling. We encourage students to use the App alongside other approved learning resources.
⚖️ 9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, G-Best CBT Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:
Loss of data or progress records
Examination failure or poor academic performance
Unauthorised access to your account by a third party
Service downtime or technical disruptions
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
🔴 10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
Violated any provision of these Terms
Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
Created multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
You may terminate your account at any time by submitting a request through our Account Deletion page. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
📝 11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users via the App or by email. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
